So I was supposed to release this track alongside a whole backlog of other songs. In the middle of that I lost creativity and I became busy with other things. This song still holds a place in my heart due to its simplicity and its ability to manifest a dream-like, ethereal world for which my imagination can find solace in. I named this track 'There Are No Cicadas' due to its dual meaning. One can yearn for a place where the chirping of cicadas cease, being left with complete peace and solitude. On the other hand, one may find themselves overloaded with negative thoughts to the extent that it drowns out every sound around them - thereby being unable to hear the cicadas that one was able to hear before.
