Stakeholder Forum: Advice on Bundling Arrangements for General Use Items on the Prostheses List

This is a recording from the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority's (IHACPA) live webinar, held virtually on Wednesday 25 January 2023. As part of reforms currently being undertaken to the Prostheses List and its arrangements, the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care has requested that IHACPA provide advice on bundling arrangements for General Use Items. The purpose of this advice is to support the private health sector in establishing alternative arrangements for the payment of benefits for these items once they are removed from the Prostheses List on 1 July 2023. The webinar provided an overview of IHACPA’s advice on bundling arrangements and invited discussion on its interpretation and use across the private health sector through a live Q&A session, as well as preview the Excel-based Access the General Use Items bundling tool that IHACPA designed to assist with the process of applying the bundling advice. ihacpa.gov.au/events
