EDM is the fastest growing music stream worldwide. Europe and the United States go crazy for this type of music and it’s just a matter of time before it hits Asia. In Malaysia EDM is almost unheard of, but that is about to change, thanks to our vlogger Ze. Ze is a popular singer in KL and is not just known for her music but also for her outrageous fashion. Ze started her electronic music career in 2004, working with Belgian producer DUSAAR. She fell in love with the 80s sound and fashion. She says it’s fun, trashy and not to be taken too seriously. Ze’s concerts are one big party! Everyone is dancing, sweating and having a good time. You can call it a hot mess. Is it hard to break through being one of the few EDM artists in Malaysia? Ze used to think so and it frustrated her that she didn’t blend in with the KL music scene.
