Today I went to check out the Hanshin Department Store record fair. It was held in Osaka. There were a lot of people there. If your wallet had a lot of cash in it, there were a lot of awesome things to buy. To be honest, I went there thinking I would come away empty handed, and I did. However, I was really tempted by a Bowie record and a T-Rex record that had a signed card! I created this video to give everyone an idea of what a record fair experience is like in Japan, when it is held in an expensive department store. I was pleasantly surprised at the range of prices. There were records and CDs priced from a few hundred yen to tens of thousands of yen. I tried to highlight some of the things that were out of my price range in the video today. There were some cool items! Memo to anyone else starting to make videos on YouTube... Beware of background music. Luckily, the music is permitted in this video. I decided to make an introduction video today. Maybe, it is too long. Please feel free to provide any feedback in the comments. Edit: Today I returned to the fair. As far as I could tell nothing special had been added. The records in the boxes were not as tightly packed. The T-rex album was still there, but someone had actually bought Blur’s greatest hits! https://www.instagram.com/mystical_ni... #レコード #japanesevinyl #citypop #davidbowie #thebeatles #recordfair
