I Shall Write – educational film | POLIN Museum

Film titled I Shall Write tells the story of two Jewish boys. The story is revealed to a girl who lives in today’s Muranów, and whose cell phone is haunted by a ghost from the past. Together with her, we travel back in time to old Warsaw. We watch everyday lives of people before the war and during wartime. We witness the beginnings of the ghetto, preparations to the uprising and, ultimately, its outbreak. While walking in our protagonists’ footsteps, we learn how they fought for survival. This particular story never happened, but… it could have happened, many times over. Film I Shall Write is addressed to children from grades 4-6 of primary school. Realised by Hi-Story.
