We absolutely love barrel-aging the Boulevardier. This rich, bitter classic (a cousin of the Negroni) evolves into a truly elegant sipper after spending a few weeks in oak. We appreciate the way aging cocktails in oak barrels provide them a unique depth, smoothness, and complexity with subtle hints of oak, smoke, and vanilla. Enjoy it as it ages and evolves in your barrel. You’ll notice changes at day 5, with a peak (in a 3-liter barrel) at about 4 weeks.
