Instead of scraping at the dust cover like I usually do, I attempted to replicate that sound by putting a piece of foam against the mic in the ear, as suggested by a few commenters. (Apparently that's how Rapunzel does it?) I really wanna be a lot gentler with this mic, although I did still use the otoscope. I used a LOT less pressure and instead focused more on centering it, I'm hoping I still got a solid pressure sound.
