The ship 'MV Karnafuly Express' currently operates from the Bangladesh Navy's jetty situated at Inani Beach. Previously, it used to run from the Bakkhali River jetty in Cox's Bazar city, but encountered operational issues on that route this year. With all the required permits secured, the ship is running to sail from Inani's naval jetty to Saint Martin's Island by sea, unlocking a new avenue for tourism. With a capacity to accommodate 750 people, the ship departs from Inani to Saint Martin's Island daily at 9 am, reaching the island by 12:30 pm. The return journey from the island starts at 3 pm, and the ship arrives back at Inani jetty by 6:30 pm. Ticket prices for the sea voyage range between Tk1,800 to Tk3,200. This initiative not only offers a convenient travel option but also presents exciting opportunities to explore the scenic beauty of these coastal destinations.
