Buying new PASTURES for COWS & HORSES - 100.000€ | Hof Bergmann | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 52

Today we are at Hof Bergmann and we have to buy pastures for cows and horses. We started by jumping into the John Deere Gator and going to the local dealer. When we arrived there, we parked the Gator and then we spoke with the manager about our harvester that caught on fire. The insurance decided to pay us 199.500 euros and scrap the harvester. It was not the amount of money we were looking for but it is what it is. So we jumped into the Gator and headed back to the house where we parked it in the garage. The next job was to meet with the landlord and try to purchase some pastures from him. We jumped into a Mercedes Sprinter and headed to the pasture in between our yards where we met with the landlord. We spoke a little bit with the landlord and then we inspected the pastures. This pasture was used for horses and it was the one that we need. We negotiated the price with the landlord and we ended up agreeing on 30.000 euros and we bought the pasture. Then we went to the second pasture where we again met with the landlord and we inspected the pasture. We ended up agreeing on 75.000 euros and we bought the pasture for our cow. After that was done, we returned back to the farm and parked the van and it was time to move the animals in the new pastures. We started by moving five horses into the horse pasture by riding them to there. Then we removed the manure from the boxes they were in and clean them. When that was done, we fed the horses using the Weidemann 1140 to transport one hay bale into the bale feeder. Then we transported the water from the water source to the water trough in the pasture using John Deere 6195M with a water tanker. After we finished with horses it was time to move the cows into the new pasture. We used John Deere 8230 with a livestock trailer to move ten cows into the pasture. Then we used John Deere 5125M to transport hay bales from the farm to the pasture and feed the cows. The last thing we had to do with cows was to give them some water. For that job, we used again John Deere 6195M with a water tanker. When we finished with all the animals, we went inside the house and took a break from a long day of work.
