“516Nm and silence, 402hp and zero emissions.” That’s the nutshell summary that Citroen’s luxury marque DS offers for its E-Tense concept, speaking to both its power and the ultra-green drive system that provides it. E-Mehari introduces a more retro-styled look to the Cactus formula, its doors finished with grooves and protruding hinge covers, while the silver-finished upright window and rollover frames add additional flair. The Rimac Concept One’s drivetrain has been tweaked since its debut, but it still features four electric motors, one for each wheel, with each pair located in the middle of their respective axles. In total, the coupe’s drivetrain is rated at 800kW of power and 1600Nm of torque. The Rinspeed Etos concept has been revealed as a reimagined BMW i8 with some trademark Swiss twists. More than just a car, the Etos comes with a DJI drone and a landing platform at the rear. The aim of Italdesign with the GTZero project was to explore the sports car segment, a great classic in the history of the car, but giving it an interpretation in line with the times and designing a high-tech, sustainable and versatile version. The "EDAG Light Cocoon" is not just a dynamic, compact sports car, but also a statement for the ultimate in lightweight design of the future. Instead of closed surfaces, it features the kind of skeleton-like structure that can be found in nature. Whereas many other electric cars rely on a battery system to provide initial charge, the nanoFlowcell vehicles utilise an electrolytic fuel cell storing two separate positively and negatively charged fluids, which, when combined, produce a low voltage and high current. On board the Quantino are two 175 litre tanks which, according to nanoFlowcell, give the small car an estimated range of 1000 kms from a single fill.
