This is why is debate between the Worm Scarf and the Brain of Confusion, the 2 most popular Terraria Expert Mode items, isn't even close. In this video I break down and compare the Terraria Worm Scarf, which is dropped from the Eater of Worlds boss, to the Brain of Confusion, which is dropped from the Brain of Cthulhu in Terraria Expert or Master Mode. The Worm Scarf gives a 17% damage reduction to all enemies or bosses and the Brain of Confusion gives you a 16% chance to take no damage. Hopefully Terraria's 1.4.5 Update will change these awesome accessories Expert Mode is Terraria's hard mode, less then Master Mode but harder then Classic mode, if turned on, it plays like a Hardcore world. In this mode bosses drop treasure bags, and new expert mode accessories like the worm scarf or Shield of Cthulhu.
