Sewing a reproduction 1970s ClothKit on my white Singer 221K7 Featherweight sewing machine Vlog!

I was super excited when I saw ClothKits had reproduced this Jerkin Kit that was originally available in 1976/77. The actual Jerkin Kit had been an original design released by them in winter 1971/1972 but they changed the pattern design throughout the 1970s and the 1976/77 design was based on the Orient. Without hesitation I bought one of these groovy kits and spent a fun Saturday sewing it together on my White Singer Featherweight sewing machine. I decided to make a Vlog to document this groovy make! **ERRATA** I mention that ClothKits was first established in the 1970's. I've since discovered it was founded by Anne Kennedy in 1968 as a mail-order business that sold sew-it yourself patterns for clothing and was originally based in Lewes, East Sussex. The company was then made temporarily dormant in 1991 and then the brand was bought in 2007 by artist Kay Mawer and the company was relaunched in early 2008. Also I note in the video that I got 4 fastenings but when I removed them all from the envelope, I found it was actually 5. The large sweater I'm wearing in the video was designed and hand knitted by myself for Knitting Magazine several years ago. However, I do have the individual pattern for sale in my Etsy shop. Please note that as I designed this several years ago, the yarn I mention in the pattern has since been discontinued so it would need to be substituted with a similar weight yarn.
