Building a NEW fly tying station from an OLD dining room table | Beyond The Fly

Up to this point I had been using a beautifully made "mini" fly tying table that was given to me by my awesome family. I would move from different areas of the house just so I could set the table on a flat surface and turnout some fly's. Flash forward several months and it was time to trash our family dining room table. After looking at the table closely, I could see all the notes, scribbles, and past memories that had been made. The table had histories, been through moves, and shared our secrets. The table couldn't end up in the landfill. The memories couldn't be thrown out. Something had to be done!?! The idea to re-purpose the table was eventual born! A mental design was created and all my tools were pulled out to save a part of our family history. Here is where the video comes into play.
