This is day 6 of a series of videos showing the development of a litter of squirrel babies from three weeks to three months old when they leave the nest. The video was originally captured from @SquirrelNestLive 's live stream. The litter was born on February 19, 2024. In this video, we see how quickly the kits are becoming independent of Mom at nine weeks. They can be seen sampling tree bark, chewing on a bone attached nearby for the squirrels, and generally gaining confidence climbing around on their tree. There's one more video after this clip in the series: The kits' last night in the nestbox at around three months old. After that clip is posted, I'll get back to my usual home-grown fox squirrels again. (Minnie is doing great!)
