Fire Roll...It's been a while since I've tried the Paper Towel and Wood Ashes Fire Roll. Usually it's a lot harder to get ignition than this... Not sure what's the difference. Paper Towels? Fresh ashes from the hobo stove? I don't know. But I'll gladly take an easy one when so many of the other "EASY" ones won't ignite at all. The tips in this one... (1) If you don't see smoke emanating from the fire roll, roll it till you do. (2) The leading edge of a paper towel Fire Roll wants to unravel, be persistent it will eventually stay put. (3) I think in this case, using the entire length of the P.T. strip is necessary for the inner most layers to tighten better. (4) Consider your stroke. Are you short stroking? So much more efficient to long stroke... Come see how it all turned out.
