This mission explores Saturn's largest moon, Titan. Using a magnetized target fusion-powered engine, we can send large payloads and crew to Saturn's moon in just one year. Including a 180-day stay on Titan's surface, the mission would take only 2.5+ years from crew launch to Earth return. This mission is based on NASA's study on Human Outer Planet Exploration (HOPE) with the D-D fusion-powered Magnetized Target Fusion equipped design. This video is also highly inspired by several KSP RSS/RO and SFS cinematic videos. Titan Lander was inspired by MSAM from For All Mankind. Note that it's still unfinished, so expect some bugs. I will probably move this mod to the main SFS Forum sometime. Solar System: Ludwig's Solar System 1.2 + Truly Terrained Solar System 2.03 (Modified for Realistic Mode) Note: The main mission was performed on a modded version of Spaceflight Simulator in Realistic difficulty with several quicksaves. The fusion engine's in-game thrust is vastly increased, so I don't have to AFK overnight for a 10-second timelapse (side note: thrust does not affect delta-v!). Not all boosters were recovered in the recording progress, but they were left out with enough delta-v to be recovered (those footage were not included in the video anyway). Some video editing trickery was added to the video (such as methane lakes on Titan). Warpinator mod is used for spacecraft prototyping and certain shots for cinematic purposes.
