As epic as it might seem, this fight was not particularly hard. Liu Kang, particularly on his Flame Fist variation, is one of those characters that are simply very effective against the AI, so when i comes to facing shinnok in either of his form it is just a matter of finding the right rhythm. When it comes to Corrupted Shinnok using the "stay close and jump to dodge" strategy works best. I did run into some difficulty since Liu Kang specialty is to rush down and keep pressure on the opponent and while this is a strategy that works theoretically well on Shinnok, Liu Kang needs basic game requires to run towards his opponent for his moves to be effective and running toward Shinnok is a really bad idea. Still, with movements to dodge and keeping the pressure with Liu Kangs Special Attacks this battle is actually rather easy. Also keep in mind that Liu Kang has one of the best Uppercuts in the game so don´t be shy to use it as a counter attack.
