I've been in something of an 80s mood recently and seeing as the Big Bam Boom album turned 40 this October I figured it was time to do a ‪@hallandoates‬ tune! . I'm playing my Fender Jazz Bass in Drop D tuning with my thumb to get the synthy attack, then I'm stealing a couple tricks from I.M.A ‪@IanMartinAllison‬ where I've got a "clean" bass tone, a fuzz with the drive turned way down tone, and an octave down tone blended together and then squashed with compression and seasoned with chorus, reverb and a mild phaser. Sounds pretty good to me!
