Grammy Award-winning singer Shakira said these words to world leaders before taking to the stage with a rendition of "Imagine," John Lennon's iconic anthem of love and peace. She dedicated the song to the Kurdi brothers, two Syrian refugee children who died at sea while trying to reach Greece. Shakira, a passionate advocate of children’s rights, performed at the United Nations General Assembly to mark the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals, better known as the Global Goals.
