This short airport connector (SR3032) still has it's original concrete section from 1976 when it was built. Sections like this were very common in Pennsylvania during the 1970s and were slowly phased out in the 90s and 2000s in favor of asphalt or newer concrete resurfacing. Sections like this from the 70s are some of the few remaining from this time period. While concrete during this time period is much quieter then newer concrete pavements from the 80s and 90s, it is still interesting to take a look at them.
