DISCLAIMER: I created this course back in 2016-2017 using the NAZE32 F1 flight controller and BetaFlight to program it. BetaFlight has dropped support for all F1 flight controllers about 2019. So I cannot recommend you get the NAZE32 flight controller. However, you can still use this course as an example of how to build your drone with most any F3, F4, or F7 flight controller. All the principal components and connections haven't changed.
