Inyo Fine Cannabis is one of the first dispensaries to open in Nevada, as the state rolls out their medical marijuana market. [Store Manager?] David Goldwater shows us the ins and outs of the facility, explaining all the effort the company has put in to make sure their patients feel, safe, respected, and comfortable. He tells us what has happened in the first two weeks of business, and the plans they have for the future to vertically integrate and incorporate edibles into their retail offerings. Enjoy! "We're less than a mile from the Strip, which is a great location. We're located very close to a tourist corridor, and we're also right in the middle of a very densely populated local area. So we think we're perfectly situated to serve this community." "We like to have a one-to-one relationship [between budtenders and customers], it never gets too crowded back here. Patients can see the product, look at the product, smell the product, see what they like." "You can see over here is a refrigerator that one day will have edibles and concentrates and things like that. The issue there - we're one of the dispensaries to open, so there's just not enough legal marijuana in the market to start making the infused products and edibles... 75% of the people who walk through this door and sit in this room say 'where are your edibles?' We're excited to get them in." "Well, [the next step] for us it's going to be getting vertically integrated, and producing not just the flower, but also producing the edibles. And then, it's a marketing game." "The people of the state voted on it... the people on the legislature voted on it, and I think it's generally accepted for medical purposes, and we're excited about that and we're not running away from it. We treat it like medicine, our employees are trained, we make sure it's safe and secure for those purposes- we're not running from it."
