The purpose of this video is to show how to install and configure the Andromeda Research Labs ACOM2 adapter. The ACOM2 (asynchronous communication) adapter allows the AR-32A (EPROM+ system) to access any Motorola microcontroller which supports the asynchronous serial interface. This includes the 68HC05, 08, 908 and 11 families. The microcontrollers are found in a variety of automotive modules including the Toyota DELCO ecu, the Saab TWICE, the BMW EWS, Chrysler Crossfire and many more. This is a setup video and should be viewed before attempting to connect to the target microcontroller and establish communication with the part.
