Hiking Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park is one of the best hikes you can complete while visiting Yosemite National Park. The Upper Yosemite Falls Hike hike is a very strenuous hard hike totally 6.6 miles roundtrip and 3,254 feet of elevation gain. It takes anywhere from 4 to 6 hours to complete, there are dozens of switchbacks so be sure to bring at least 2-3 liters of water. The lower Yosemite Falls trail is a very easy 1.2 mile loop trail with little to no elevation gain.
