Some adventures for me aren't about the riding, well... yes it is. It's hard to explain I guess. These Bike the Whites rides are hard to put into words. This was one of those adventures I had on my list. Part of me was nervous as I knew how hard it would be, didn't know exactly how much we'd even be able to ride. The title says it all I guess. It was on my bucketlist trails list to try so it had to be done, but it was the hardest "ride" we've ever done. I think even Mt. Washington was a little easier... or maybe I was just younger and in better shape lol. Even still this ride made memories that I'll never forget, like the thumbnail photo of having my bike up at 5200'. My riding buddy said it the best at the end of the video... even if it's the hardest worst ride, it was fun but we'll never do it again. But that's the thing alot of MTB purists don't get about these adventures. They are adventures. Not just MTB rides. But they offer so much more when it's a beautiful day. Scenery, gnarly lines, natural rock and features, and that feeling of being out there where few on a bike have ever gone. Even if we couldn't ride a large portion of the trail, we had fun, and earned every bit of it. But, one and done for sure. Keep in mind this terrain is gnarly, out there, and as cool as it looks the white mountains are no joke and always be prepared when going into the backcountry, help is hours and hours away! With all that being said, if your a hiker you can buy a guidebook that tells you where the trails are and what they are like. Being episode 38 I've ridden probably 100's of trails in our white mountains and that's where if you want to help support the channel and you believe in what I do, consider joining the patreon below, think of it as your online guidebook for mountain biking with exclusive access to the authors. Thanks for watching as always. / projectnortheast #mtb #bikethewhites #mountainbike #downhillmtb #whitemountains
