Tremblant: TGV Express
This lift is one of two Poma's in a sea of Doppelmayr lifts. The other is Expo that I wasn't able to record. Both were installed in 1993. TGV serves the upper south side terrain and is always one of the first lifts to open for the season. It was named after the TGV train, partly due to its design speed of 1100 fpm. Unfortunately it has been slowed down in recent years. In October 2014, the base terminal was severely damaged by fire, and Leitner Poma had to completely rebuild it. There wasn't enough time to get it done before the 14-15 season, so they did a band aid fix that year and then did the overhaul in time for 15-16. This included wood paneling at the bottom and a new haulrope.
