First time back in Malaysia in 10 YEARS

October, 2016 Towards the end of October, we had a week off from school because of the Shirokane Festival so I decided to spend a few of those days in Malaysia. Malaysia primarily consisted of Family and Food, because honestly, is there anything else you need in life?! It was my first time back in the homeland in about 10 years and I was overwhelmed (in a good way) by the immense amount of nostalgia and love from relatives that I haven't seen since I was a kid. Some of my relatives haven't seen me in nearly a decade yet they treated me with an open heart and with so much compassion and warmth. It was honestly such a beautifully surreal feeling. As much as they were surprised to see how much I've grown, it was just as surprising for me to see how much they have aged. It's crazy... sometime we're too busy growing up that we often forget our family/relatives are also growing old. Remember to always appreciate and love your fam! This video is long overdue but I finally had some time to edit it lol Also, shout out to my cousin Shuan for being so awesome and taking me to visit all our relatives and of course, to all the delicious local food spots to grub :D Enjoy!
