The new brushes for Procreate 5.4 Beta are made by Kyle T. Webster. In this video I will cover the BrushSets: Gouache, Watercolors and Paints. Because this is still in Beta the brushes may change. I am testing this on a Pad Pro 12 inch with the standard Apple Pencil. So I can not show you the hover function or the barrel role function. Procreate 5.4 Beta Review: • Procreate 5.4 Beta Update What is New? Intro All of the brushes are named after places, plants or animals in Tasmania around Hobart. The headquarters of Savage Interactive, the producers of Procreate and Procreate Dreams. In this review I am first going to show the brushes in the BrushSet and then paint something with it. I take the name of the first brush in the brushSet and then paint it. Gouache I made a painting with this Gouache BrushSet using the first named brush as a subject. The first brush is called Bottlenose. The Bottlenose is a dolphin that swims around the coasts of Tasmania. I tried out all of the brushes in this brushset. Ik liked the night heron and Loyetea a lot, because with these brushes you can add more structure to your painting Paints I painted this Peacock Spider with the Paints BrushSet. The first brush is called Peacock. Paints are more rough brushes to paint with in a painterly style. I like this brushset a lot. It is a great add on to the already existing brushes in the Classic Brush Library. Watercolor I used all of the watercolour brushes to paint these tansy flowers that grow in Tasmania. This BrushSet has some nice natural brushes with a lot of dilution. Some of them have harder edges, mimicking the real watercolour brushes. The default watercolours were not that great in Procreate. So this BrushSet is a nice addition.
