As described in Part 1, this is another interpretation of what Prasat Preah Khan was used for at that time. We continued our visit with Chao Kaing, who told us about Father/Mother Water/Earth, the alliance between both conflicting religions: Hinduism and Buddhism. You will see also the statues of Preah Neang Krop Leak and some points made by Chao Kaing on the so called Linga. For reference, I invite you to watch our video on the other interpretation of what a linga is... I would like to stress that the religion practiced at that time was still called Buddhism as it was the religion of Preah Kao Neak Komono, who is the 3rd Buddha out of the 5 prophetized to come during this era; the 4th is currenlty known Preah Somonok Odom and the 5th is to come Preah Seameatrey, also called Sereameatrey by Chao Kaing. Please note that Buddhism as currenlty known worldwide lead by Preah Somonok Odom was only introduced to our country with the French protectorate, who couldn't believe that we could have our own religion and modified our history to the Indian history, which they knew better... As informed in earlier videos, I would like to thank all of you for supporting us! This video was recorded early December 2018. It is unfortunate that some people don't understand that history is made up by mankind, especially when referring to ancient times, as there is an obvious lack of tangible proofs (i.e. documents which could have been destroyed with the fall of the Empire). Therefore, this interpretation, made by Chao Kaing, of the Khmer history is only another potential interpretation of the carvings left by our ancestors. Unlike other specialists, we aren't trying to make our ancient history fit into other's shoes/boxes (i.e. Indian history)... We want to keep our channel and communication exchange as respectful as possible and don't force anybody to adhere to this interpretation. We won't tolerate any personal attack or insult on this channel. Thank you for understanding.
