"TMC MPs and Bengal Government Ministers led by Abhishek Banerjee have just been manhandled and mercilessly dragged from the Ministry of Rural Development by Delhi Police and detained," Trinamool Rajya Sabha member Saket Gokhale said in a post on X. At least 30 party MPs and 10 Bengal ministers were allegedly forced to wait for three hours, according to Trinamool leaders. The Trinamool leaders staged a dharna at the Ministry office after the Union Minister declined to meet with the group.
