Hello Everyone❕ The Black Fort, also known as Zwart Bastion, is a historic fort in Galle, Sri Lanka. It was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century to protect the town. The fort is one of the oldest examples of Sri Lankan colonial architecture. The Dutch captured the fort in 1640 and expanded it to its current size in 1643.The British later took over the fort.
