First off, just like always, I'm INCREDDIBLY thankful for the support and, well, basically everything! 1.7k is INSANE! The lifts, however, are a WHOLE ANOTHER THING. If you want to check out the lifts when they were original, check this video out... Video: • 3x High-rise DAKA Elevators w/o inner door... ARRBRRR After this, Serbian Elevators went here and filmed the small lifts after their modernization and menitoned that the big lift was out of order and mentioned that it might be getting modernized aswell which, honestly, made sense. HOWEVER, I did NOT expect to find it ORIGINAL!! The small lifts are identical, just inverted versions of one another, theyve been moderized with AYBEY which is a regular mod in Uzice and quite a good one too! They know their mods... Theyre also 3-speed and super smooth, just have a unbearably long acceleration! I dont know why exactly. Their cabs are pretty bland but, hey, Im not complaining! And now, the star of the show, the ORIGINAL LIFT. As Ive said, coming into Uzice I least expected it to still be like that and just accepted the fact that it might be modernized. However, walking into the building and seeing it like that PLUS seeing the indicator working made me litteraly JUMP out of excitement!!! The lift is untouched, with its ICONIC panel with 3 rows of buttons which is, believe it or not, 1/4 remaining ones in the entirety of Serbia. The lift is poorly lit, but thats not that importaint. Its also really smooth, but quite vandalised unfortunately... Its also SUUUPER busy and quite a pain in the ahh to get a full ride of. Now, to adress the elephant in the room... The fact that its still innerdoorless. A lot of lifts in Uzice are like that, dont get me wrong, but the entrance nextdoor with original lifts by the way (Serbian Elevators filmed them too) had recieved inner doors a while ago! So, youd imagine the litreally tallest building in town to collect enough money to add some. To be fair, the residents might be simply clever and perserve the treasure as much as they can. Agh I just love the lift... Also, Id like to add that it might just be the tallest innerdoorless lift in all of Serbia, and maybe even the entirety of the Balkans. Technically, the building is 25 floors tall, as It's first 4 floors are used for community stuff... Pretty impressive, right? Also new outro! (remastered) Small lifts: Serve: 23 stops (0, P1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ..., 19, 20, 21), Lifts: 2-Speed Traction DAKA Lifts, Mod: By VB Lift using AYBEY (3-Speed new logic), Speed: 1.2 m/s, Capacity: 300kg - 4 persons, Year: Installed in the late 1970s, Other: Have automatic 2-speed inner doors, Overall: Very nicely modernized lifts!! Big lift: Serves: 23 stops (0, P1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ..., 19, 20, 21), Lift: Original 2-Speed Traction DAKA Lift, Mod: --, Speed: 1.2 m/s, Capacity: 450kg - 6 persons, Year: Installed in the late 1970s, Other: Is Innerdoorless, Overall: Absolutely amazing and a gem of a lift...
