In addition to tanks and similar armored land platforms, L-UMTAS also plays an active role in the destruction of targets such as pillboxes and trenches. L-UMTAS Missile with a maximum range of 8 kilometers; It has 3 different warhead options: Tandem Anti Tank, High Explosive Particle Effect and Thermobaric. The laser seeker L-UMTAS Missile also has a version called Imaging Infrared (IIR) Seeker UMTAS. Thanks to the IIR Seeker, the UMTAS Missile allows the firing platform to move away from the area after locking on to the target once. In the L-UMTAS Missile, the firing platform or any friendly element must make laser marking until the missile reaches the target.
