CHOD practice performed by Redna Menling Nunnery, Menri, India

Chod is a Tantric practice. “Chöd” means “cutting.” Through chöd practice, one can learn to cut through obstacles and illusions, freeing ourselves from the illusions of self and others, and thus cutting off the source of pain and suffering. The practice consist of the Damaru (hand-held drum), the laugher of the Khandros and the sound of the Chöd. Redna Menling Nunnery is located on the opposite side of the valley of Dolanji where Menri Monastery is located. It is the only Bonpo nunnery outside Tibet. This event of CHOD Tantric practice performed by Redna Menling Nunnery was organised by Ligmincha International Cyber Sangha.
