Jagan Mohan Reddy is quietly trying to reactivate his old administrative network behind the scenes. According to political circles, a secret strategy is being implemented to maintain influence over certain IAS officers who held key positions during his previous government. As part of this effort, a trusted retired IAS officer has reportedly been sent as an intermediary. The retired official allegedly traveled from Hyderabad to Vijayawada and met several senior bureaucrats currently serving in important departments. Initially, they planned to discuss matters during a morning walk to avoid attention, but the plan was changed at the last moment. Instead, a private apartment on Club Road in Vijayawada was reportedly used for a confidential meeting. Around 12 secretary-level officers are said to have attended this meeting. Many of them played significant roles during Jagan’s five-year rule. During the discussion, the retired officer allegedly asked them to share internal government information such as which leaders Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu meets and which key files are moving in different departments. In return, assurances of future benefits and support were reportedly offered.
