Here's a fun video celebrating SHIDOOBEE with Stonesdoug's 25th Anniversary. Doug started Shidoobee message board in Feb 2000 as a great place for Rolling Stones fanatics to keep in touch, network & get information about the Rolling Stones. The best part of Shidoobee was tour information for pre-Parties & post concert parties as well as pre-announced tour rumors. We have SHIDOOBEES all over the world & its created some really fantastic friendships & even a few marriages. We celebrated the 25th anniversary in NYC's East Village with a party Friday & Saturday nights, both which had Rolling Stones cover bands. I think we had close to 150 Shidoobee fan friends attend. We also gathered on St Marks Place on Saturday afternoon to create this video on the same stoop that the Rolling Stones filmed their Waiting on a Friend music video. This was Doug's idea & asked me to organize the video shoot. With the help of 3 other cameramen, I think it came together just perfect. The Stones track at the beginning is from Hampton 1981. Brown Sugar band from Philly is playing at the end. Thank YOU StonesDoug & GailOnTheRail for putting together a really awesome SHIDOOBEE weekend.
