This video captures aspects of the essence of Alaska, with its seeming endless vastness and unique history and culture. It is truly America's final frontier. we went on a road trip from Anchorage to Fairbanks to experience the Midnight Sun Festival, then drove over a thousand miles of gravel road over the Brooks Range to the Arctic Ocean and back. The next leg of our trip took us through the Yukon and down to Skagway and Haines. From there we headed north to Valdez and Kenai Peninsula for the Marathon Mountain race and more fantastic scenery. Alaska is more than just a destination.
