Surefire is widely-respected amongst professionals for its tactical lighting products. However, Surefire also gets a bad rap from a lot of flashlight geeks. Is this warranted? In today’s video, I break down some of the common misconceptions about Surefire’s flashlights using the E2D LED Defender Ultra as a point of reference. Video notes: I don’t recommend purchasing the latest, 1000 lumen iteration of the E2D LED Defender. Because it was released very recently, prices are still relatively high. The difference between 500-600-1000 lumens is mostly negligible - the price is not. If you’ve got any questions or concerns, fire away in the comments! I’m happy to answer in turn.
