Krakow is the last semi-independent remnant of the once mighty Poland-Lithuanian Commonwealth. In 1836, Krakow is nearing it's darkest hour. The Austrian Empire is looking to conquer Krakow in an ongoing push for centralization all around the empire. The small population of Krakow clings to their independence, despite lowered autonomy for Krakow's government in the form of being a vassal to the evil Austrians. It is clear that the next few years will be critical for the future of Krakow. However, the Russians of all people have taken an interest in the success of Krakow.
