I had an amazing day at Miyajima, Japan. I have explored Itsukushima Island many times from the land, but this time I got to check it out from the sea. Thanks to Haru-san, our knowledgeable guide from Miyajima Sea Kayak, we were able to get a really close view of the famous Torii and the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine. We even paddled up a small stream to find the blowfish swimming there. I finished off my day with a tasty lunch at NiwaCafe Miyajima and a delicious ice cream from Baccano. What a fun day!
