Sabse badi problem hai – overthinking. Dimag kabhi rukta hi nahi. Subah uthte hi sochna shuru, raat ko sone jao tab bhi dimaag chal raha hota hai. “Kal kya hoga?”, “Log kya sochenge?”, “Maine sahi kiya ya galat?”, “Agar aisa ho gaya toh?” – Ye sawal humari energy ko dheere-dheere kha jaate hain. Lekin 2500 saal pehle ek mahaan vyakti ne is problem ka solution bataya tha. Unka naam tha Gautama Buddha. Unhone overthinking ko rokne ka ek bahut hi simple aur practical tarika diya tha – Mindfulness, yaani sachet rehna, present moment mein jeena. Chaliye is baat ko detail mein samajhte hain. Overthinking Hota Kyu Hai? Overthinking ka matlab hota hai kisi baat ko baar-baar sochna, usko tod-marod kar analyze karna, future ke scenarios banana, ya past ki galtiyon ko repeat karte rehna. Jab hum kisi result se chipak jaate hain, tab dimaag control se bahar chala jaata hai. Buddha Ka Pehla Principle: Present Moment Mein Jiyo Buddha ne sikhaya ki zindagi sirf isi pal mein ho rahi hai. Na kal real hai, na kal ka future real hai. Sirf “abhi” real hai. Sochiye – jab aap chai pee rahe hote hain, kya aap sirf chai pee rahe hote hain? Nahi. Aap phone dekh rahe hote hain, future ke baare mein soch rahe hote hain, ya kisi baat par tension le rahe hote hain. Buddha kehte the: “Jab chal rahe ho, sirf chalo. Jab kha rahe ho, sirf khao.” Iska matlab hai poori awareness ke saath kaam karna. Agar aap present moment par dhyaan dena shuru kar denge, toh overthinking apne aap kam ho jayegi. Mindfulness Kya Hai? Mindfulness ka simple matlab hai – jo ho raha hai usko bina judge kiye observe karna. Maan lijiye aapko gussa aa raha hai. Normal insaan kya karta hai? Ya toh react karta hai, ya phir gusse ko suppress karta hai. Lekin Buddha ka tarika alag tha. Unhone kaha: “Gusse ko dekho. Bas dekho. Uske saath mat beh jao.” Aap bas apne andar ke emotion ko observe kijiye: “Ab mujhe gussa aa raha hai.” “Ab mera dil tez dhadak raha hai.” “Ab mere dimaag mein negative thoughts aa rahe hain.” Jaise hi aap observe karna shuru karte hain, aap aur aapke thoughts alag ho jaate hain. Tab overthinking ki power kam ho jaati hai. Dusra Principle: Thoughts Sach Nahi Hote Hum apne thoughts ko sach maan lete hain. Agar dimaag ne keh diya “Tum fail ho jaoge”, toh hum maan lete hain ki sach mein fail ho jayenge. Lekin Buddha ne bataya ki thoughts bas badalti hui lehron ki tarah hote hain. Woh permanent nahi hote. Jaise aasman mein badal aate hain aur chale jaate hain, waise hi thoughts bhi aate hain aur chale jaate hain. Agar aap unhe pakadte nahi, toh woh khud hi khatam ho jaate hain. Overthinking tab hoti hai jab hum ek thought ko pakad kar usko bada bana dete hain. Teesra Principle: Saans Par Dhyaan Buddha ne sabse powerful technique batayi – Anapanasati (breathing meditation). Iska tarika bahut simple hai: Seedha baith jao. Aankhen band karo. Sirf apni saans ko observe karo. Saans andar ja rahi hai – notice karo. Saans bahar aa rahi hai – notice karo. Bas itna hi. Agar beech mein thoughts aayein, toh unhe roko mat. Bas gently apna dhyaan wapas saans par le aao. Roz sirf 10 minute yeh practice karne se dimaag dheere-dheere shaant hone lagta hai. Chautha Principle: Impermanence (Anitya) Buddha ne ek aur important baat sikhayi – sab kuch temporary hai. Khushi temporary. Dukh temporary. Success temporary. Failure temporary. Jab aap samajh jaate hain ki har cheez badalne wali hai, toh aap future ke darr se chhutne lagte hain. Overthinking kam ho jaati hai, kyunki aap jaan lete hain ki jo bhi ho raha hai, woh bhi beet jayega.
