October 2020. Sometimes it is not all about waterfalls. I spent 3 nights backpacking and hiking in beautiful Yosemite National Park and Hoover Wilderness (Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest). Starting from the Twin Lakes trailhead in Bridgeport California in the Eastern Sierra, I backpacked over Mule Pass into northern Yosemite National Park and Piute Canyon. One of the best hikes in Yosemite? I camped at Barney Lake, Robinson Lake, and Piute Canyon. Fall color season is here.
