ECHUCA FLOOD EVENT Floods across Australia’s east coast are far from over, and many towns in Victoria are doing what they can to protect their homes and businesses. First it was the Campaspe that broke its banks and flooded homes, and now the Murray River is expected to peak at 96 metres, the highest level in 150 years. But it's not just homes under threat, there are heaps of farms in the area, too. 20 per cent of Victoria's milk is produced in the area, too, and up to 1 million litres of milk could go to waste. BTS AGREES TO MILITARY SERVICE K-Pop Band BTS will take time out for military service. In South Korea all men between the ages of 18 and 28 have to serve about two years in the military. The boy band’s been allowed to delay it so they could be global superstars, and lots of people have argued the world’s best-selling musical act should be exempt from the rules. But all members have now agreed to serve. NEDD BROCKMANN CHARITY RUN Nedd Brockmann has just run all the way from Perth to Sydney while raising more than 1.7 million dollars for a homelessness charity. From the moment he left Cottesloe beach in Perth on the 1st of September, he ran around 80 kays everyday day to get to Bondi Beach in Sydney, documenting his milestones on social media. Despite ankle injuries, blisters, and some terrible weather, Nedd Brockmann kept on running, and donations have come in from around the country. WINGSUIT FLY BY A wingsuit trio have flown over the Taj Mahal in India. Reaching speeds of 150 kilometres per hour, they passed the iconic monument at an altitude of 500 meters, and landed safely in a park nearby.  WINGFOIL WORLD CUP The Wingfoil World Cup in Spain saw lots of twisting, turning and impressive landings! Czech athlete, Paula Novotna, won her first world title. POLITICIAN FLEES FROM CROCODILE Local politician, Bill Yan, was out fishing for National Gone Fishing Day in the Northern Territory, when he had an unfortunate encounter with a crocodile.
