What If Deku Posses Scops Owl Quirk | Part 1 Summary: When Midoriya Izuku's quirk came in (a year late) he wasn't expecting for his life to fall apart. He wasn't expecting his quirk to be wings that bursted from his back in the middle of the night. He wasn't expecting his father to make good on his threats to leave. He wasn't expecting for his mother to start hitting him. And he never expected to be abandoned at a police station at six years old. At age ten, Izuku found himself in a group home after too many foster homes had rejected him. There, he met Shinso Hitoshi, a boy with a worryingly similar story. They quickly found solace in each other, and soon after, began to sneak out together. Three years later, the vigilante duo known only as Nightingale catches the attention of a particular winged hero as well as a hotheaded vigilante. The hero offers a roof over their heads, the vigilante offers them warm meals, and both of them offer love... but after so many adults have proved themselves untrustworthy, the offer seems far too good to be true.
