We define “innovation” as the process of taking an idea from inception to impact, and this process involves everyone! Innovation isn’t just about starting a company...it’s about sharing ideas, being part of a team, thinking about how to make the world a better place, working on projects to make MIT better, making friends from all different walks-of-life, and sure...maybe creating a startup. On Saturday, April 15th, we invited admitted students on a quest to find their inner innovator! Innoquest is an immersive journey through the innovation + entrepreneurship ecosystem— in outer space— from idea to impact. Students sorted into small teams at MIT Innovation Headquarters, and through a series of fun activities explore MIT's innovation ecosystem—a connected network of organizations (student-led and faculty- & staff-led) devoted to providing MIT students everything they will need to develop their idea into a product or service that could change the world!
