Long rumoured to exist and a once-been on Youtube in its early days, two "old-time" Jovi friends brought this back on the map (thanks Rumen and Kristin!) and once again, SkooterJo, successfully went on the next treasure hunt. We could easily place him in Outer Banks by now. This brought up some new interesting facts: the video (and this is simply an educated guess!) most likely was edited together from the three live performances they did in Madison on March 20th since also some of the structure in the back fits. Some shots are well familiar as they are in the ITA video and it seems a little wild sometimes as it's clearly a put-together from all three renditions in terms of the video. The audio is the one that's on the Tampa bootleg. It's been known for some time that this could mean anything - not all songs on there were from that show, but they were professionally recording the last three shows in Orlando, Miami and Tampa. With this having been aired on May 7th in the "ABC In Concert" series, it gives room for different ideas: 1. The audio on the bootleg actually is from one of those three performances in Madison that night. 2. The audio was recorded in Florida and then used for a "live mix" for the concert series (you can count on it having been doctored a bit). 3. The audio was in fact a performance from some studio / soundcheck done earlier (much like the rumour that the Dry County live B-side had a similar background story) and used for the video shoot. Whatever version you wanna choose is up to you. The audio was centered and nice on the bass, but lacking high-end on the tape. I aligned the Tampa recording and mixed it with this one, putting the latter more to the sides for better clarity. There were some slight tape stretches which caused minimal echo (especially earlier on), but I found it giving off some live vibe. The video was dark and, as you can see, quite noisy. A lot was restored with AI upscaling and then manual colour and level corrections afterwards. Audio and video remastered!
