Top reviews from the United States Excellent for the money - almost durable enough for battle. This is "almost" a real frog. I used it with a bare sword and it held up very well. The leather doesn't quite lay right, though. It is VERY well made but it seems to have been slightly out of alignment. Perhaps a smaller sword, as I was using it for an ARAGORN costume and the sword was more of a broadsword than a rapier. It holds the sword at a strange angle - again, perhaps with a long, slender sword this would be necessary? I would not hesitate to purchase again for costume purposes but would probably make my own custom frog if I was going to battle or a LARP fair. This will last forever, using it for dress up/Halloween type events.
