The single ‘FIRE’ is a culmination of Noah’s spiritual journey. When talking about his upcoming release, Noah explain’s “my life has had many twists and turns, many highs and lows but I’ve always felt blessed and guided. Looking for answers earlier in my life, I studied for priesthood only to be steered back towards music by my mentor in the church who told me ‘music is your calling, one song is a thousand prayers.’ His advice resonated with me on a deep spiritual level. ‘Fire’ is a prayer for salvation and oneness, a celebration of faith.” “The final version of ‘FIRE’ came to me unexpectedly while working on the song in the studio. The music that was being played in the background caught my attention, it was the chorus of a song by Will Reagan; it moved through me in a way I can only describe as a blessing and within minutes ‘Fire’ was completed. It became the song that is my thousandth prayer.” Given his musical journey Soul, Rock, Folk, Blues and influences Bob Dylan, Marvin Gaye among many others Noah Francis Johnson traverses musical genres with ease, the single ‘FIRE’ is the latest manifestation of music with no boundaries. This has been a successful year for Noah Francis Johnson’s musical career. Since his debut album Life & Times and his recent E.P Harvest Tree, Noah Francis Johnson has enjoyed national and international recognition with increasing awareness and accolades from Quincy Jones and Jean-Michel Bernard (a long-time collaborator of Ray Charles) who has publicly likened Noah’s delivery to Ray Charles. This has all coincided with continued worldwide media coverage from BBC, T.V and Radio networks in Europe and the UK and one of the UK’s biggest publications naming him as ‘one to watch’ - The Independent. The song is co-produced by Chris Kinsey (Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton, Jimmy Cliff) and Noah Francis Johnson himself. Recorded at Abbey Roads Studios, the song was mixed by Rob Hill (Korn, Cypress Hill) and features great musicians including Andy Treacey on drums (Faithless), lead guitarist Paul Stacey (Oasis, Black Crows) John Robertson (Morcheeba) on rhythm guitar, Nihan (Muse) on cello and Paddy Milner Jazz Pianist of the Year (David Gilmour, Van Morrison). The accompaniment of the L.A. Gospel Choir singing in the outro chorus brings the record to its ethereal crescendo.
