Back in April 2019 we visited the Roman Amphitheatre of Capua, near Naples in Italy. Amazing, mostly unknown and unspoilt by tourism, this amphitheater sits in one of the largest and most important cities of the ancient world. It was built by Augustus in 119 AD and later restored by Hadrian. Probably the first amphitheatre to be built by the Romans, Capua was where Spartacus started the Slave Revolt in 73 BC. Check out our 360 degree VR tour of the ruins, explore the underground tunnels and imagine the bloody games and horrors that took place here! ⚔️🛡 This VR tour was filmed on the 16th April 2019 with a GoPro Fusion and edited in Adobe Premiere. For best results view the video in 5K using a VR headset. Enjoy our video? Please subscribe and leave your feedback in the comments below!
