Protesters demand accountability after video shows SPD officers beating man on sidewalk

A group of local activists rallied to demand accountability within the Seattle Police Department. This comes after two officers were seen beating a man on a sidewalk. The rally was held at Asselt Playground Park, across from the south police precinct. This group of students and local activists says it is protesting what they're calling blatant police brutality against a man in late May, and they want the officers involved to be held accountable. The Office of Police Accountability is investigating two Seattle officers, seen in a now-viral video, beating a man on a sidewalk at a bus stop on Rainier Avenue South.
